Paternity Testing for $395.00
Fee includes mother, child, and alleged father, or child and alleged father only (motherless cases).
Additional children/alleged fathers $125.00 each. We offer volume discounts.
Testing will be performed by one of the leading providers of genetic testing in the United States with more than 10 years of experience and accredited by the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB), the most respected accrediting association for parentage testing. All specimens are handled, tested, and stored according to the AABB Standards for Parentage Testing Laboratories to maximize the security of the specimens and to prevent loss, contamination, tampering or substitution. Our laboratories are included on the State Approved Vendor List for Child Support Enforcement and other government agencies.
Fee includes the following:
DNA Sample Collection:
- Confidential DNA collections will be conducted in your home or office by a qualified specimen collector (evening and weekend appointments available).
- The cost of shipping the DNA samples to the laboratory via courier (Fed-Ex/Airborne) is included.
Buccal swab specimens are obtained by using cotton or synthetic swabs to collect cells by gently stroking the lining of the inner cheek. These cells contain the DNA required to perform parentage testing. DNA testing with buccal swabs is painless, non-invasive, and just as reliable as DNA testing with blood. The buccal swab method is especially helpful for cases involving newborns and young children.
Laboratory Testing:
- DNA testing is performed by polymerase chain reaction (PCR)
- Testing is performed on a minimum of eighteen genetic markers (the same markers used by the FBI)
- Exclusions will be confirmed in at least two systems (power of exclusion of 99.9%)
- Inclusionary results will give a probability of parentage of at least 99%
Reporting of Test Results:
- Reports are court-legal and guaranteed to be issued no later than 5 calendar days from the date of sample collection (excluding legal holidays, motherless studies, and family studies)
- Motherless and sibling/family study cases are guaranteed to be issued within 14 calendar days
FORENSIC TESTING
DNA Services of Tennessee now offers DNA testing on "trace evidence samples". Identity or paternity may be established from biological material that is normally found in adequate quantity within the following items, to name a few:

DNA Services of Tennessee will pick up forensic samples and properly package them for shipment.
Payment:
- Clients are responsible for payment to DNA Services of Tennessee at the time of DNA sample collection. Payment may be made by cash, cashier's check or money order. No personal checks please.
